Where iron ore spawns
Iron ore nodes are concentrated in the Dreamful Garden area of the Moonlit Forest — specifically on the second floor accessible after catching five blue butterflies. Nodes respawn daily. There are 8–10 nodes per run, enough for roughly 4–5 smelts before reset.
Best farming route
Teleport to the Dreamful Garden portal, clear all nodes on the ground floor, then catch five blue butterflies to unlock the upper level. The upper level has the densest node cluster. Bring a stack of food — swinging your pickaxe uses stamina quickly.
Smelting recipes
Iron ore + 1 coal → 1 iron ingot at a level-2 furnace. Iron ingots are required for pink wooden double beds, axe upgrades, and several profession-locked recipes. Each bed sells for ~466 gold, making iron-ore farming one of the best early gold routes.
How much you need
Plan for roughly 60 iron ore for the first major crafting push (bed-making for gold + axe upgrade path). That is about two weeks of daily Dreamful Garden runs, or roughly four runs with bait-and-friends in multiplayer.
