Starsand Island entered Early Access on Steam on February 11, 2026 for $24.99, with Xbox Series X|S joining on the same day via Game Pass and the Microsoft Store. The EA version shipped with the Moonlit Forest, two of the five professions, and eight romance candidates.
Version 1.0 launch — August 18, 2026
Version 1.0 unlocked at 5:00 AM PDT on August 18, 2026, lifting the price to $39.99 (Standard) and $59.99 (Deluxe). It brought multiplayer, the Autumn Pumpkin Festival, two new romance candidates, the Blueprint Contest winners, and the simultaneous debut on PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2.
Console rollout differences
Xbox received the EA build on February 11, 2026 — the same day as Steam. PS5 and Switch 2 launched directly into 1.0 on August 18, 2026, skipping the Early Access window entirely. PC updates apply first; console updates follow after each platform's certification review.
